This workshop aims to get to the bottom of nationalisation to give you a real understanding of what it is, the challenges surrounding it and how to overcome the obstacles that employers face when attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining nationals in the workforce.

- How to apply the ‘Obstacle Triangle’ model and how to overcome the three-angled challenges when dealing with nationals, their families and employers

Overview:
This interactive workshop is intended to build on Amin’s earlier presentation: “Impact of the Global Financial Crisis on Retention: Improving Your Retention Strategies in the Midst of an Economic Downturn”. It will provide the participants with an opportunity to closely interact with peers in group sessions, openly dialogue about relevant issues, actually use tools for developing retention strategies and share information and best practices.
At this workshop you will learn:
- The seven Ps necessary to retain national employees during uncertain economic times
- How to develop specific retention strategies to retain national employees using the ADDIE model (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate)
- Strategies for developing a practical action plan for improving retention
